Some say that Nha trang is the hawaii of Asia,a city that never sleeps on summer.Well, who the hell wants to sleep on summer?Pretty sure this is the season to go beaches or places that will get you in the fun mode.Nha Trang is mostly known for its beaches and seafood but is there more to it rather than just soaking in the sun?Definitely! Before I share with you my experience, let me show you where Nha Trang is located. Most people don't even have a clue and even my friends guess its from some island in Thailand but believe me its not..Here's a map where its located. Although Nha Trang is known for its beautiful beaches and dive sites around it,its also known for cool theme parks and interesting places that will surely amuse you.I opted for this itinerary due to my time being constricted.A 3 days 2 night for me is not relax holiday but anyway I still get to go out from my workplace and that for me was a relief. When I reached Nha Trang airport, the atmosphere is totally different from Ho Chi Minh or Hanoi. Its less pollution and quieter(maybe its the off peak season)and has the holiday feel to it.So,to reach the heart of Nha Trang that takes around 45 mins, there's 2 main transportation available. Its either the airport bus that cost around VND50k-60k(RM9-12) or taxi VND250K-350K)Uber and Grab cost around the same too unless there's promotion. Check in to our hotel and we were surprise it was quite decent as we paid RM54 per pax for 2 nights and it has a balcony too with breakfast included for the 3 of us.Although its bit to the far side of where the theme park and Egg kingdom is located, the place was quiet and peaceful, just what I need.Sometimes staying in the tourist spot will put you in a hectic yet bustling atmosphere that surely break your inner peace to piece.Places that are further away from tourist spots are much better and cheaper too. If you guys wanna explore by yourself, most hotels will gladly provide motorbike rentals at a decent price.Cost around VND 150k-200k(RM27-RM36) per day depending on the bike's bran and you don't need to have a motor licence to ride, how cool is that! The receptionist will ask you to leave your passports in exchange for the bikes. This is to safeguard their interest in case something happens but not to worry. Most hotels do the same just to earn some profits and police rarely checks so it's not of a big deal.Just make sure not to speed when it comes to Vietnam.Remember you're in a foreign land not a racing circuit. Time for some Vietnam food!!I have eaten countless Vietnamese food but not this. This is by far the best grill meat I've eaten in Nha Trang. This restaurant specialise in marinating meats and vegetables. While I was there, the place was jam pack at early dinner hours. We had to find and wait for the table ourself because the staff there couldn't speak English.Thank God theres a supervisor who knows english came and help us settle down to our table.(Gonna learn Vietnamese one day) The meat has been marinated in some kind of Vietnamese sweet and salty spice to enhance the flavour of the meat. Now all you gotta do is grill that juicy meat that's been yelling at you.Btw,the vegetables are nicely marinated too and yeah, this is a DIY grill restaurant,on a charcoal. Address for this restaurant.TripAdvisor ratings are down but this was recommend by my Vietnamese friend so I decided to give it a try..Moral of the story?Dont always trust TripAdvisor.Trust the locals!:) Overall,I enjoyed the food there and its good and affordable too.Cost us around VND380k(RM70) for the 3 of us.. VINPEARLAND Ask someone about Vinpearland and people will wonder if its related to disneyland. The answer is no.In fact,it has some similarities to disneyland just that its on an island(Hon Tre island). There are 5* hotels, smooth sandy beach, turquoise seas, waterparks and even has its own alpine coasters!(one of the longest in southeast asia)Vinpearland is own by a Vietnamese billionaire who then turn it into his own wonderland. To get to Vinpearl island, you can either take a ferry or a cable car that is included in your admission fee.Admission fee for the whole package cost only VND600k(RM110).Kinda worth it since there's so many activities to spend the whole day there. What a view!!Tips for you guys. This attraction in Vinpearl is so popular that you will lose your patience waiting for it.So, if you want to be the first few person in line to play, come early and run all the way here..OR,you could play this at night while the fountain show starts at 7pm then it would be less people. EGG MUD BATH(EGG KINGDOM) Egg+mud+bath=Seriously?Nah..its just another weird creation somewhere in the Nha Trang mountains.I heard of mud spa but not with eggs. No,you don't have eggs in your mud spa.Its just that there are eggs everywhere all over the place! And when I say everywhere, its literally like a buffet spread with only eggs. Its so beautifully crafted for god knows whats worth.!Gosh..Let the pics do the talking.I don't even know what I'm saying. HI! Surprisingly the mud doesn't have any kind of weird smell..clean mud? and after a good soak of 20 mins,I feel my skin has become smoother for real.Went to their website and it says scientific research states the mud will make a powerful stimulus to the nerves under the skin and supports the treatment of certain diseases such as gout, rheumatoid arthritis, tuberculosis and related diseases neurological substrates. Besides, thanks to the absorption properties and adhesion, so after bathing, mud will remove dead skin cells, making the skin becomes rosy and smooth. Overall,it was interesting to discover interesting places that makes Nha Trang a unique city to visit in Vietnam.Allthough Nha Trang is getting popular each year for its attractions,it is still not really known to foreigners yet.If you wanna do lots of exploration, thrill seekers and walking with nature, this is the place. If I had the time,I would probably go to the salt fields in Hon Khoi, located 40km from here.My research says its another place in Nha Trang where you will see how the salts were created from scratch.Anyway,it still an enjoyable 3 days 2 night exploration and I spend below RM1k for this entire trip(including flights and a half day tour in HCM)Till next time Nha Trang.Im so stoked for my future post because its gonna be about NZ..so stay tune guys and keep travelling!
