Ah!!..You know that feeling when something incredibly is going to happen soon and you're there begging God to speed up the time for it to begin?I know right..Its like pregnancy..but without that painful ordeal..(hooray for men+1pts)Finally found the time to blog(in a ungodly hour..pff)and its my first time blogging.Well,i dont really know much about blogging but i have been reading people's blog so it gives me a rough idea how it works and here i am doing something im not familliar but heck care la somebody has to start somewhere right?
Ok,.so im heading off to my first SOLO,EPIC adventure to europe on my birthday in oct and much preparations are on the way. This is what i initially plan for my journey in 7 countries 30 days looks like.
Pardon the lame map,As u can see(obviously)my journey throughout europe looks like a retarded rocket heading towards UK but who cares!!.It will be my longest journey i ever travelled in my entire life.Although it sounds a little scary travelling alone, its actually safe to travel in europe.Just remember to bring your common sense and intuition with you or your be heading for a slight bumper ahead.I bet you guys are wondering will things work out for me with all this planning i had been doing for months.?The answer is simple, maybe. If it doesnt work out just be spontaneous or have a mini backup plan. Its that easy.Travelling is meant to get lost sometimes.Just be prepared to get into some unexpected adventures that leaves awesome stories to tell when your back.:)
As for transportation well in europe, transportation is always a ease from what i research. So the best way is to travel by train and its relatively cheap too.Example, from Paris to Milan fare starts from €29 so i dont think flying should be the main option since the train system in europe is quite flexible.Furthermore theres overnight train if you wanna save on accomodation.Sounds cool right? If you wanna find out more details about train travelling in europe and other parts of the world,go check this guy out!! He's the BOMB!!
Accomodation in europe will probably the hardest challenge for me as im not keen staying in hotels or a BNB.Lack of flexibility and getting your wallet on "diet" is one of the reason so try to avoid this in any posibble way if your on a budget. Also,if you're staying for a month like me its best not to book too far ahead because who knows things couldnt work out the way you planned and there you are wasting money that should have been your dinner.Just book 1 week in advance prior to your arrival of your preffered accomodation..One of the many cheap ways is to find affordable hostels, homestays or free accomodation that is centrally located to all the attractions you need to go.Links are below
Think that covers what i had planned throughtout my months of research. It is like a dream come true doing things i have been wanting to do for a long time.I have seriously thought of letting go of my career and focus on slow travelling its just of matter of time im gonna do it for good..For now let this be a experience i can learn and make it into a lifetime goal.Ill be heading to Vietnam and Taiwan in this coming months before my biggest trip so stay tuned on my next post.Ciao!
